My children seem more interested in cooking and baking if we receive cooking magazines. We did Cook’s Illustrated for a while. They enjoy flipping through, looking at the photos, and eventually feel inspired to try something. Any recommendations? I’m looking for magazines that don’t try to push a political agenda or immorality while they talk food.

In case you missed my review on Instagram, I ended up giving Brillia five stars.

I want to recommend this to you so much, but I need to do it in a way that doesn’t violate the privacy of some of my children. So let me just say that I can say with zero reservations that this really does help with:

  • Extreme social anxiety
  • Hyperactivity
  • Excitability

What I love is that it does it in a way in which my children seem more of who they are, not less. It’s not suppressing symptoms. Instead, it seems to be slowly and gently healing them so they can blossom.

We saw, as many of you know, amazing progress for one of our children on the Nemechek Protocol. We are still using this — it’s been wonderful! But there were some residual issues Nemechek didn’t seem to be touching (even after 2 years), so I added Brillia on top of it.

It sort of felt like magic, it worked so well.

When we tried it, there was a three-month money-back guarantee, so zero risk and everything to gain (especially since it’s homeopathic). I think they’re still doing that. If you use my referral link, it should give you an additional discount.

I rediscovered Mill Hill beaded Christmas ornament kits this year. I remember a friend introducing me to these when we were in junior high. My parents still have the little beaded angel I made way back then. I’ve kept and eye out for them ever since, but never could remember the brand. This year, I found the Mill Hill kits when searching for something else. They are more difficult than what I remember (detailed counted cross stitch to do before the beading), but still so pretty and fun to do. I ordered a number of kits so I could pass on to my children what that friend passed on to me all those years ago. ♥

This month in 2017:

This is one of the early posts in my very slow series on Charlotte Mason and Gifted Kids series. It all boils down to this, I think: genius comes by nature; character is an achievement.

Do you want free and fair elections?

Every time voter fraud is committed, real voters are disenfranchised. When we discovered that Dominion Voting was counting our local votes, we contacted our local authorities even though we were happy with the outcome of the election. It’s not about winning. It’s about getting accurate counts so that our republic continues being a republic … instead of a joke. I highly recommend you find out how your local votes were counted and make inquiries if you are concerned. All of this starts with corruption at the local level. Don’t just leave this to the feds to clean up; get involved.

In fact, every state that bought Dominion for sure should have a criminal investigation or at least a serious investigation of the officers in the states who bought the software. We’ve even got evidence of some kickbacks, essentially.
