
Today, I’m over at Teaching Reading with Bob Books talking about bad reading lessons. You know: those days when your child suddenly forgets every phonics rule you ever taught him, and you feel like a Big Failure. I think the advice there — don’t freak out — applies to a lot more than reading. All of this got me thinking about how tightly wound I was about … well … everything … when I was first starting out as a homeschool mom.
We put so much pressure on ourselves, don’t we?
